JTTA assists Dutch companies looking for products and/or suppliers in China.

This can be achieved in two ways:

1. Smaller volumes are imported directly by JTTA, giving us full control and responsibility over their handling. This way, we handle everything on your behalf.
2. For large volumes or full container loads (FCLs), we can connect you directly with the manufacturer (if desired) and operate on the basis of an agreed fee.

By routing all requests through our Chinese business partners, we have a buying advantage that allows us to offer our customers more competitive prices. At the same time, our Chinese business partners screen potential factories.

Processes

We are happy to guide you through the processes involved in:

1. sample creation: samples are produced for approval based on accurate artwork and clear specifications. They are suitable for use in photography, marketing materials, presentations, and other related purposes. A digital proof is also available for standard items.
    
2. approval: once the sample or digital proof is approved, we will proceed with the production process. If the proof is unsatisfactory, a new proof will be prepared, or approval will be granted with the necessary modifications.
    
3. packaging: if personalised individual packaging is required, JTTA can arrange it, including packing the products accordingly. This prevents additional handling in the Netherlands. By default, the products are packed in bulk in outer boxes.
    
4. mass production: The average production lead time in China is 5 to 6 weeks before the products are ready for shipment.
    
5. Quality Control (QC): depending on the item, there may be quality requirements that need to be monitored on an ongoing basis. Providing production samples enables quality checks at every stage of the process. In addition, certain certification may be required, such as ISO or BRC. In China, quality control is conducted using the AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) standard. This method was developed to select a statistically representative sample, allowing mass production to be checked randomly.
    
6. shipping: in general, all products are shipped by sea, both LCLs and FCLs. This is the cheapest solution in terms of costs. However, for smaller volumes in terms of CBM and weight, air freight is often a practical and cost-effective solution. An additional advantage is that delivery times are significantly reduced.
    
7. customs clearance: customs clearance is handled in collaboration with our logistics partner. Import duties will also be determined at that time.
    
8. delivery: the products will be delivered to the delivery address provided by the client. Please note that products are delivered on pallets and can be unloaded using your own forklift or loading dock. Smaller shipments are delivered by parcel service, and we may even deliver a small shipment personally. 😉
